LEEDS
CASTLE - Built on two islands within a lake, this intimate
castle with its magnificent gardens, has been described by Lord Conway as
‘the loveliest castle in history’. Edward I made it a Royal Palace for
his wife, and now, nearly 800 years later it contains a superb collection
of Medieval furnishings, tapestries and impressionist art as well as
delightful gardens. Your visit here will be truly memorable! |
