Itinerary :

STONEHENGE  Full of mystery and wonder, this fascinating monument is the most important pre-historic monument in the British Isles, the subject of countless theories over the years. You will have a chance to see the famous, ancient stones, take photographs and be told something of its extraordinary history, dating back over 5,000 years. It is still not known whether it was used as a temple or a astronomical calendar.

TIME FOR SHOPPING AND LUNCH  Your guide will be pleased to recommend a lunch venue for you to enjoy.

THE CITY OF BATH  No other English city can boast such a wealth of magnificent 18th century architecture of crescents, terraces and squares. Bath is certainly one of the most beautiful of cities and was voted a World Heritage Site in 1987. We visit the fascinating hot and cold baths built by the Romans over nineteen centuries ago and at the time considered to be one of the Wonders of the World. There is ample time to explore the excellent shops, see Bath Abbey and the Pulteney Bridge, before driving home via the beautiful Avon Valley. A tour not to be missed and always our most popular!
Leaving Bath on our journey back to London, we climb into the hills to the North and have views over Bristol, the largest city in the southwest of England. On clear days one can see the hills of South Wales.

This tour finishes at approximately 6.30pm.
