Veneto

LOCATION: The Veneto hotel is located near the villa Borghese and a few blocks away from Via Veneto, the main up market shopping boulvard in rome.
EXTERIOR: This is a traditional style building.
LOBBY: The lobby of  the Veneto hotel is small, long and narrow, with a small seating area at the end. Leading on from there is the hotel bar which appears spacious, since all the seats are arranged around the edge. The lobby is tiled in cream coloured stone, and is both polished and clean.
ROOMS: The rooms of the Veneto hotel vary greatly in size, most are small and some medium in size. The are decorated with Venetian style furniture -  That is wardrobes and desks painted in pale colours - blues and greens mostly with gilt edges. Some rooms, mostly on the 1st floor, have "English furniture". All the rooms have printed cloth on te walls instead of wall paper, making it an up market feel. Rooms in the inner courtyard are smaller. The bathrooms are tiled, mostly white, and all have a bath tub, althought some are rather small.
RESTAURANT: This is located on the top floor, extended in the summer to form a roof garden. The breakfast room is also on the top floor.
GENERAL: An excellent hotel from a security point of view, with security cameras on every floor monitoring the corridors.

Villa Glori

LOCATION: 1km to the north of Piazza del Popolo, this hotel is 15 minutes walk from what is generally considered to be Rome's City Centre. Situated in a quiet side street in a residential area the hotel is ideal for those guests who want a tranquil place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Rome's vastly overpopulated city shopping and commercial area.
EXTERIOR: Grey 4 storey building which was built around the turn of the century it is typical of the buildings area and does not stand out in any way.
LOBBY: Narrow entrance located at the foot of some quite steep stairs. The reception desk is wooden and is immediately on your left upon entering.
ROOMS: Good quality rooms for a hotel of this category. Indeed all rooms were completely renovated over the last 2 years leaving the hotel almost perfect condition.
RESTAURANT: Breakfast room is quite small but has a warm cosy atmpsphere.
GENERAL: Excellent quality hotel for this category. Hotel is near nenough to the city centre to make it a very pouplar hotel with imdividual travellers from all over the world and businessmen alike.
