Itinerary :

Day one:
Normandy motorway. Guided walking tour of the old centre of rouen (Gros Horloge, Cathedral and the Square where Joan of Arc was burnt at the Stake). View of the newly built Normandy Bridge. Honfleur: Free time for lunch; On to Deauville. Pegasus Bridge. Drive along the Landing beaches: Gold Juno and Sword. Caen: visit to the Memorial Museum. Dinner and overnight Hotel Novotel or similar.

Day two:
Visit to St-Malo, city of the pirates.
Lunch on your own.
Guided visit to the abbey of the Mont-Saint-Michel.
Dinner and overnight in Angers at the Mercure-Lac de Maine hotel or similar.

Day three:
Angers (view of chateau from outside). Pass by Cunault and Saumur. Guided visit to Langeais castle. Amboise: Lunch on your own.
Guided visit to the castle of Chenonceau .
In Cheverny: Guided visit to the castle of Chambord.*

* In October: visit to the Cheverny instead of Chambord.
