Itinerary :
Here are the sights you will see:

A Breathtaking scenery!

We start the day by picking you up at your hotel in Oslo in the morning at 6.45 a.m. and taking you to the Central Station to catch the Bergen Line. On this train ride we pass fertile valleys, wild waterfalls and scenic lakes on our way up to Hardangervidda. We reach the highest point on the trip at Finse. 1222 meters above sea level, with eternal snow and shimmering glaciers in the background.

At Myrdal we change trains and board the famous Flam Line – maybe the tour’s most breathtaking experience. The Flam Railway is said to be a masterpiece of engineering – twelve miles long with a descent of 2,838 feet, 20 tunnels and a gradient of one in 18! Through the carriage windows you will see the wild landscape changing from a desolate and windswept mountain plateau into fertile and verdant orchards down by the shores of the Sognefjord. There will be a photo-stop at Kjosfossen – the power station beside the waterfall provides electricity to run the Flam Railway.

Flam is an idyllic fjord community. From here we continue the tour with a cruise on the world’s narrowest fjord between sheer mountain walls that can rise to 1,800 metres, mighty waterfalls and tiny dusters of farms clinging to the high pastures. If you choose to spend one night in Aurland you will be picked up by the hotel bus at the Aurland Pier. Dinner and breakfast are included at the hotel, and they will also make suggestions for activities like hiking, bicycling and sightseeing in the area. The boatcruise ends in Gudvangen – did you see the seals that live in the Naeroyfjord?
The last part of the tour is by a modern and comfortable coach. We climb up the Aurland Valley which is one of Norway’s many national parks famous for its hiking possibilities and botantical richness. After a stop for an evening meal, we continue down the Hallingdal valley where many of the ski resorts in southern Norway are located. We arrive in Oslo late in the evening and bring you back to your hotel.
