The nearest underground station is Gloucester road which is a two minute walk down the road -  from there district, Piccadilly and Circle lines take you almost everywhere in London and to Heathrow airport

There is a bus stop opposite the hotel where you can jump on the famous London double deck or the airbus to Heathrow or a sightseeing bus

 By British rail

Victoria station (Gatwick express), waterloo (Eurostar) and Paddington (Heathrow Express) stations can all be reached in approximately 15 mins by underground or taxi
