cannot ask for more central hotel than the Regent Palace
on Piccadilly circus. The hotel was built during the turn
of the century and have maintain its Art Deco style in
few of the suites. The lobby stretch right on to the most
exciting centre of the world, where every one will pass
by her door step. Overlooking Eros and the bright lights
of Piccadilly Circus, the Regent Palace is an ideal base
- whether you are visiting town on business or for
pleasure - and offers homely, value for money
accommodation, with wash basins in all guest rooms and
personally serviced shower/bathroom complexes on all
floors. Yes, all 887 rooms are either double; twin;
triple or quad share. Dial 21 and you have your
"butler" to arrange and tidy up the bath room
for your bath or shower (The hotel has no toilet and
shower in all her 3rd to 9th floors, but it is slowly
being up graded to have a few floor with ensuite bath
room which will then be a typical 3 star standard
property). There is the Irish Bar and restaurant for your
eating pleasure, as well as a coffee house for the
afternoon snacks and sandwiches. Reception is manned 24
hours and the porters are ever ready to offer you
suggestions on theatre, sightseeing and sporting event
tickets. The hotel is also sitting on top of the
Piccadilly Station, served by underground lines: Bakerloo
and Piccadilly lines. In short: Hotel has two level of rooms; Regent room (3 star standard); or 1 star basic room. |
