Schengen Visitor Visa Requirements for France through Tonghang tour

Please note that the Visitor Visa application must provide the following document. Incorrect document will not be lodged by Tonghang.

You may obtain a visa from if:
You are visiting friends or relations in France and that you will spend more time in France than in any other Schengen country(ies)

To apply via Tonghang, due to the limited slot given to agencies daily, we strongly advise that you apply as soon as you are ready to relocate or move to France.

Please ensure that all documents requested are submitted to us (or the Embassy/TLScontact) in the following order. Spouse or children of EU citizens applying together with the main family member, have to submit only items marked with ¶.

Non-compliance with the set guidelines (items not presented in the correct order/photocopies missing) will lead to the application being rejected without being processed. Thank you for your cooperation.

_ 1 completed application form duly signed by the applicant

       Minors (if you have to bring your child along) must submit a letter from school, college, university
        and/or legal guardian with an English version of the Birth Certificate.
        Furthermore both parents must sign the form and add copy of their passports.
        If one parent is not travelling or unable to sign the form, he/she must submit a letter of agreement         together with a copy of his/her passport and letter of authorisation permitting the child to leave the
       U.K.

_ 2 passport-size photographs (undamaged and of no more than one month old - 3.5cm x 4.5cm) ¶
Do not staple or damage the photos; background must be white or light and plain.

_ National passport or official travel document valid for more than 3 months beyond ¶
          the validity of the requested visa, with a blank visa page to affix the visa sticker.
          The UK Residence Permit must also exceed by more than 3 months the validity of the requested
         visa.

_ Copy of the passport including the signature page ¶

_ Copy of the UK Residence Permit ¶

_   Proof of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay (min. 55.00 sterling pounds day/person)
          -          recent original current bank statements/original pay slips for the last three months (please note
                that cash and credit card statements are not acceptable, though TC is acceptable)

_ Copy of recent bank statements/last pay slips for the last three months

    Confirmed hotel reservation
           or
    A signed invitation from your host in France and copy of his/her passport or the residence permit (if
           the host is not French, formal obligation / certificate of reception "attestation d’accueil" (see specimen),
           acquired by your host from the local police station, or town hall or "mairie" in France ), to be
           presented to the embassy

    Copy of confirmed hotel reservation
           or
    Copy of the signed invitation from your host in France and copy of his/her passport or the residence
           permit (if the host is not French, formal obligation / certificate of reception "attestation d’accueil"
           acquired by your host from the town hall or "mairie" in France ), to be presented to the embassy

_    Transport documentation
           overland coach; airline or e-ticket
           or rail ticket
           NOTE: the Embassy or Tonghang tour cannot be held responsible for any delay or if the visa is
           refused.

_ Copy of the transport documentation

_    Proof of health insurance (travel insurance) - the insurance must cover medical fees and
           repatriation cost of minimum 30,000.00 euro. (you need to highlight this on your policy)
           Duration of coverage is the entire period of your stay in Schengen area.
           Insurance can be purchased from Post Offices, banks, travel agencies or BUPA.
          Please make sure that the document includes the following information: name of applicant, duration
          of the insurance, cover details, provide the insurance policy. A policy number only, is not sufficient.

_ Copy of the travel insurance and the policy

_ Recent original letter of employment from the employer in the UK or recent student letter addressed to the French Embassy confirming the purpose and duration of the trip and the date of returning to work or back to school.

_ Visa for onward destination country, if required

_ Copy of the visa

_ Visa collection either in person or provide a prepaid and self-addressed registered delivery envelope
(from Post Office)

_   Visa application fee: 55.00 sterling pounds + TLScontact processing fee of 25.00 pounds.
               Visa application is free of charge for
            - Minors under the age of 6 years
            - Spouses and children of EU nationals

_    Proof of relationship is required (original passport of EU spouse or parent(s) ¶
           and original marriage certificate or birth certificate(s) of child(ren).
           Documents not in English, German, French, Italian require a certified translation.

Processing time is approximately 10 working days from the date of receipt of the complete visa-file.

For the following nationals the visa processing takes up to 14 working days: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Burundi, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Dem. Rep. of Congo, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Surinam, Syria, Vietnam, Palestine.

Each case is reviewed separately at the time of application, and no guarantee can be given that a visa will be issued.
